Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from your feathered and furry friends at Jolly Folly Farm! The Nativity always shows us Jesus in a stable, with animals nearby. There is always a donkey at the Nativity, though none so cute as our Ivy when she enjoyed the first snow of winter 2017.

We at Jolly Folly Farm, would like to think that there might have been a variety of animals there that first Christmas morning. Our gift to you this season: some happy holiday footage from our first Virginia snow this winter a few weeks ago. It's cute, but also politically motivated as we boldly propose the idea that chickens and a pony (Arabian, of course) deserve some barnyard recognition this time of year as well.

And, just in case you wondered if ponies in the snow were as charming and pretty as they are in movies -- they're not. They're prettier and simply intoxicating to watch!!!
